Rotary bearing for assembly machine of 3450mm outer diameter pipe segments processed for a foreign customer

Our company has processed a turntable bearing with an outer diameter of 3450mm for a foreign customer’s segment erector. This product is a high-precision product with thin-walled inner teeth and small module. The outer diameter of the bearing is 3450mm, and the weight of the entire bearing is less than 900 kilograms. The outer ring wall thickness is only 58 millimeters while the outer ring height is 72 millimeters. The diameter, height, and wall thickness are very small, and the gear module is 12, which belongs to small module inner teeth. The machining difficulty of the entire bearing is very high, and there are many technical difficulties. Our company’s technicians have developed corresponding process plans based on product characteristics, prepared process tests and demonstrations in advance, and ultimately successfully overcame various technical difficulties. All technical indicators of the product meet customer requirements.
